Burner Flame Notes:

After extended periods of storage, the burner throats should be individually checked for any blockage caused by foreign objects, i.e., insects, spider webs, etc. Blocking the throat of the burner will cause a rich mixture (too little air) and can be defined by the flame deterioration. Any blockage must be cleared before continuing to use the grill.

Flame Description:

Correct Mixture: Well-defined, individual blue flames at holes in burner.

Incorrect Mixture: Long, lazy yellow-tipped flame with a tendency to wrap around the top of the burner.

Warning:

If the burner makes a hissing sound when lit, it may have back lit and be burning inside. Turn burner off, allow to cool and try again.
